Official recurring schedule

Epic confirms this weekly rhythm throughout the Runners season. Specific Power Hour modifiers and Thursday additions can change, so the page separates the permanent schedule from one-off event history.

The schedule calculates the next window and uses your device timezone. Monday begins at 9 AM ET; Saturday Power Hours begin at 3:30 PM and 9:30 PM ET.

What each Sprite event offers

Mastery Monday

Legendary and Mythic Sprites appear more often, leveling is twice as fast, and successful extractions award double Sprite Dust.

Thursday release

Every Thursday brings a new Sprite or special variant into the mix. Check the in-game news panel for the featured addition.

Saturday Power Hours

Two weekly sessions refresh gameplay modifiers and improve your opportunity to secure a Sprite variant missing from the collection.

Prepare first

Filter missing variants, choose a safe extraction route and coordinate squad targets before the limited session begins.

Shiny Hours event history

Shiny Hours ran on July 18, 2026 in two special sessions. Epic increased Batman Sprite and Beach Buggy spawns while boosting Gold, Gummy, Galaxy and Holofoil variant appearances. The completed event remains documented for collectors, but it is no longer presented as the next window.

Use the Sprite Dust calculator before Mastery Monday and the route planner before Power Hours.

Official source and update policy

The recurring schedule and bonuses come from Epic Games Support. Event modifiers are not converted into invented percentages. When Epic announces a special window, the Tracker records its exact time and moves it to history after it ends.

Complete weekly Sprite event strategy

How the weekly rotation works

Runners uses a repeating three-day rhythm rather than one permanent event. Mastery Monday focuses on progression and Dust. Thursday introduces a new Sprite or special variant into the mix. Saturday Power Hours use refreshed gameplay modifiers and give collectors another opportunity to obtain a missing treatment. The schedule cards calculate the next occurrence from the official ET timetable and convert it to the browser timezone. A one-off promotion such as Shiny Hours is recorded separately after it ends, so a historical date cannot be mistaken for the next live window.

Plan for Mastery Monday

Monday is the strongest general progression day. Epic lists increased Legendary and Mythic appearances, double Sprite leveling speed and double Sprite Dust from extractions. Start with companions that are expensive to replace or close to the next mastery level. Build a safe extraction route before chasing a rare target, because the Dust bonus only becomes useful when the extraction succeeds. Record the starting balance, target levels and missing entries. At the end, compare actual gains with an ordinary session. This makes Monday useful for both collection completion and funding future summons.

Use Thursday for freshness

Thursday is a release checkpoint, not a promise that every new entry appears at the same time or source. Check the in-game news panel and an official announcement before changing the tracker. Identify whether the addition is a named Sprite, a treatment for existing companions, or a limited collaboration. Then review chest sources, rarity, ability and summon cost. Avoid marking leaked or datamined entries as available until live evidence exists. For collectors, Thursday is the right day to update the hunt list and remove assumptions carried over from the previous week.

Prepare for Saturday Power Hours

Power Hours are limited, so preparation matters more than browsing during the session. Confirm the device timezone, install updates, filter the collection to missing variants and choose no more than a few priorities. Select a route that balances chest volume with extraction safety. Squad players should divide targets and decide who protects the carrier. Keep enough time to extract before the window closes. Epic says modifiers and featured Sprites change weekly, which means an old strategy may not match the current session. Always read the active modifier before the first queue.

Interpret event bonuses carefully

An official statement that appearances are increased does not reveal a numeric drop rate. Do not convert boosted, more common or improved chance into an invented percentage. Personal samples can help compare two sessions, but a few chests are not enough to describe the global loot table. Record container type, event window, target treatment, successful finds and patch version. Separate discovery attempts from completed extractions. This evidence-first approach prevents event excitement from producing misleading rarity claims and makes later corrections easier when Epic changes a modifier.

After the event ends

Update the collection immediately while the results are still clear. Mark exact treatments rather than only the named companion, record mastery changes and remove completed targets from the next-match plan. If a special event had exact start and end times, move it into history with its source. Do not keep a countdown running after the final session. Review which route produced safe extractions and which target consumed too much time. The next weekly plan should be based on those observations, the current collection gaps and the newly announced modifier—not a copied routine from the previous Saturday.

Continue with the collection tracker.
